Challenge

The previous enterprise-grade website was a masterpiece, however the admin team struggled to maintain content within their workflows. Content updates were slow, requiring developer support for even minor changes, leaving the marketing team without the agility they needed to launch content and campaigns quickly.

The system had become both costly and complex to maintain, with the drawbacks outweighing the benefits. As the business grew, the platform limited Valcon from making the most of its digital presence.

Design & UX

Our first priority was to ensure that the look and feel of the Valcon brand translated seamlessly into WordPress. We rebuilt the design system with precision, maintaining brand consistency while giving the site a more intuitive, block-based structure. This allowed content editors to build flexible layouts without compromising on quality.

Build & Technology

On the technical side, we migrated the site from its headless CMS into WordPress 6.8.2, chosen for its stability, usability, and enterprise readiness. A custom WordPress theme was developed to match Valcon’s corporate style and deliver optimal performance. Structured content blocks were introduced to make publishing straightforward, while best practices in security, performance, and scalability were applied to ensure the site could support long-term business needs.

The Result

The migration transformed Valcon’s website into a platform that empowers its marketing team. They can now manage and publish content rapidly and independently, reducing reliance on developers and cutting associated costs.
